The TurnW2E® System:

Clean thermal for the global community.

Utilizing an advanced rotary kiln gasification technology, TurnW2E® Systems handle various mixed stream waste materials, including plastic waste, industrial waste, commercial waste, chemical waste, biosolids, biohazardous material, and water remediation.

COMMERCIAL SOLUTIONS

Designed as a fully integrable commercial process, the TurnW2E® System is a solution for waste generated onsite or collected from others, especially plastic wastes. Ports, airports, resorts, and universities can transition to more sustainable utilities using engineered systems specifically engineered for their circumstances and needs.

INDUSTRIAL SOLUTIONS

From pulp, paper, food, and beverage, to heavy manufacturing, the TurnW2E® System is a drop-in solution for industrial manufacturing facilities to generate clean energy from onsite plastics which would otherwise be disposed of in landfills.

MUNICIPAL SOLUTIONS

TurnW2E® Systems are solutions designed to transition a local municipal facility into a sustainable local infrastructure. Locally generated waste such as non-recyclable plastics are used to create distributed energy solutions for the facility, eliminating the use of landfills and replacing incinerators.

COMMUNITY SOLUTIONS

Communities across the globe are faced with plastic waste issues. Global recycling rates are abysmal and therefore the related costs are inconclusive. Many communities are disconnected from this but still have issues with plastics generated by others that come to their community via the waterways and the ocean, and that affect their community by landing on their beaches, in their marine ecosystems, and their marinas, all negatively impacting the natural order of their environment.

By developing a simple set of tools for use by the US military, the developer of the TurnW2E® technology has also provided
a way for CORE to assist almost any community affected by plastic waste to design a solution that can work for their needs.

COSTAL COMMUNITY SOLUTIONS

Coastal communities can incorporate sargassum and plastic waste for air conditioning and cold storage; using ocean debris and plastic waste to make thermal energy or electricity, using any of these to make energy for water desalination, and having small systems in many locations to provide support for an aging or inadequate local grid. Additionally, coastal communities can benefit in the event of a natural disaster; recovery efforts can be accelerated with the use of a system designed for coastal use; providing local communities with the ability to generate energy or water from natural disaster debris.

SUSTAINABILITY AT THE CORE

Sustainability at the core means additional community solutions including working with other technologies in an integrated system of TurnW2E® with intermittent solar and/or wind to make hydrogen, used to charge batteries, or generate usable thermal energy.

Integration with technologies that use specific plastics to generate new plastic or chemicals from plastic wastes are also excellent opportunities for community collaboration.

A TurnW2E® system uses all plastics, even that which is left over from chemical recycling and plastics reuse processes. Integration provides a total solution for plastic materials, clean or not, that is closed loop, and highly efficient, using all the material.
